WhOOt Dom! That's amazing....so realistic! His finger looks a bit strange. His knuckle is wide and then as you get closer to the hand it gets really skinny. I don't know if that was intentional but I just thought I'd point it out. Anyways, great job other than that!

Must be the scanner. If you look REALLY closely, you could see it's there and I guess the shading camaflaged into the background of his neck. Thanks for pointing it out, I'll fix it later this week.

Your portrait of Boone is amazing. I particularly liked the nose and the lips look quite kissible. I need to keep in mind to find a different reference picture from yours when I start Boone. I want work on the Korean couple first since there doesn't seem to be any flattering pictures of Jack, and Kate's curly hair seems too overwheming for me. *cough* no good at hair *cough*

Great thing, nothing to complain about... not that it makes me sad or something I love this effect when something drawn with shades not so strong is shown on a much darker background, obviously drawn with a softer pencil. It makes the person or whatever it is just "jump out" of the drawing, very nice. Another thing... the 3D in the hand gesture, practically flawless. And the hair - the effect when fair hair cast dark shadows is just beyond me... Ah, on thing there is to complain. In a great picture such as this, it catches the eye if one can spot individual pencil strokes that constitute the dark background, as it is here. Maybe it can be corrected digitally, or something?
Still, it's a great portrait. Point.
